Episode 18

How do you like this thought?

“We exist to offer dignity to those with special needs, to offer inclusion to those often excluded, and to improve the community in which we operate.”

That’s the mission statement for Mcleod’s Coffee House.

In this episode, I talk with Brewster Mcleod about how this beautiful and inspiring space came to be and the role it serves for the VIPs who work there, their customers, and other businesses in the area.

We also get into Brewster’s story from growing up in Decatur Georgia to his retirement from Southland Christian Church after 40 years of ministry.

We taped this conversation in McLeod’s Coffee House on Southland Drive in Lexington, Kentucky.

So you’ll get to enjoy some of the ambient sounds and feel like you’re sitting at the antique round table with us.

Join our conversation as we’re checking our audio levels and I ask Brewster about his early years.
