Episode 9

You’ve probably heard or read some I Believe essays.

Here’s something that I Believe.

I Believe that the Toastmasters International club experience is the best personal development program available today to learn and practice communications and leadership skills.

That experience, when worked diligently meeting after meeting, week after week, changes the trajectory of a member’s life in a significantly positive direction.

It can be a short-term project to meet a need you have right now, or a lifelong experience preparing you for ever greater opportunities. You choose your commitment level based on your needs.

In this episode I talk with three dedicated life-long Toastmasters leaders here in the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky.

They are Cynthia Lanham DTM, Steve Lanham DTM, and Rick Sebree DTM.

We take a deep dive into the Toastmasters experience.

My experience with Toastmasters began in 1979 and it gave me the skills and confidence I needed to enjoy my career to a fuller more rewarding degree.

I encourage you to visit a Toastmasters club and see if it’s a good fit for you. Membership could be the best New Year’s resolution you make.

You can begin by visiting the Midway Toastmasters club Zoom meeting and meet Cynthia, Steve, and Rick.

The link to their Zoom meetings is on their club website at https://midwaytm.toastmastersclubs.org/
